Liu to go back field through national tournaments

Feng Shuyong,deputy director of Athletics Administrative Center, revealed that Liu will participate some national tournaments in 2009 such as National Games, National or Asian Championships which will be held in Guangzhou China for the concern of his further adjustment after his recovery.

When it comes to the muscular atrophy of Liu's right foot, Feng said that it is a natural phenomenon to athletes after a period of lack-training. Even a few days of resting would bring about the atrophy, let along such a long-time treatment. In order to prevent from more serious atrophy, the rehabilitation doctor would help Liu to do some necessary train on his ankle.
